A line in Ted Lasso really stood out to me:
This line made me think: who is loved more? Someone who ‘goes it alone’ and doesn’t take help but tries to save everyone, or one who takes all the help he can from everybody around and lets them all know how grateful he is and how much they’re needed and valued?”
I guess I’d love to make other people feel valued by depending on them deeply and completely. Why not put my life in the hands of people I love and trust? I guess I need to build up that trust gradually, and ease my way into interdependence. Not the life I’ve been living up until now.
